(NEWSER) – A California school district is scrapping a lesson plan that allowed middle school students to deny the existence of the Holocaust, Fox News reports. After a wave of criticism and a reported death threat, Southern California's Rialto Unified School District backpedaled on its unusual method of teaching eighth-graders about propaganda. The lesson plan (part of a "Diary of Anne Frank" unit, the Daily Bulletin notes) asked students to write an essay for or against the belief that the Holocaust occurred—which would help them "develop critical thinking skills," a school board member said.

Among the critics was the Anti-Defamation League, which expressed its concerns to district Interim Superintendent Mohammad Islam, saying the lesson plan "gives legitimacy to the hateful and anti-Semitic promoters of Holocaust denial," reports another Daily Bulletin article. Today the district canceled the plan and promised to strike "any reference to the Holocaust 'not occurring'" from school assignments. Meanwhile, Rialto police said they received several calls from someone who made death threats against Islam and a district spokeswoman. Authorities are investigating, and two officers were stationed today on campus.

The Los Angeles Clipper's Owner is in the wrong business! He needs to start a business that doesn't involve black people nor other minorities he dislikes!  The story broke about a week ago of his racist comments at a Clipper game that was recorded and given to the media.

The above article was a hotly debated issue regarding a young black girl whose life support was going to be shut off if she wasn't moved from her previous hospital. Thankfully her family had her moved to another medical facility to keep her alive.

Realizing that quality of life is an issue, some people believed it was best for her to be taken off life support.

Others came with racist overtones and the inevitable question was asked: "Would her life have more value if she was a young white girl?"

Thank God she is now showing signs of life! I pray her full recovery is at hand!

People exhibit bold degrees of racism and hate while online! Their safe in their dwellings and most wouldn't dare say such racist things (to someone from another race) in their face! Bunch of cowards and very ignorant too!

Hate and division starts in your mind and heart.

Why would anyone wanna be prejudiced against their fellow human being?

Why would anyone wanna hate their fellow man or woman?

The answer lies at the seat of our human emotions and in our beliefs about others who are unlike us.

Racial prejudice divides and yet usually goes undercover in public.

Yet it's alive online, where people can post racist comments incognito/without fear of discovery.

Those that perpetrate open racist views, often have an agenda and recruitment in mind.

Let's end this age old evil of racial disparity now for future generations!
